popa3d package is installed but delivers to /var/spool/mail instead of /home/mail. When I set procmail DEFAULT to deliver then the mail shows up as expected in /home/mail but cannot pick it up via pop3 client.

The slack package gives no opportunity to set the parameter so I went to the popa3d site and the process for a new install is beyond my scope. Anyone do compile of popa3d for the home directory or have any suggestions from slack? THis is for 10.0 and 10.2.

I currently have slack 10 and 10.2 and use webmin to administer my virtual hosts. Slack comes standard with popa3d for a pop server which was fine but it was delivering all the mail to the user at /var/spool/mail. I want it delivered to the user's home directory $HOME/Mail

When I set procmail to DEFAULT=$HOME/Mail the mail was getting delivered properly to the home directory but you can't POP in to get the mail. Apparently /var/spool/mail is hard coded into the package install with no option otherwise.

The standard popa3d install asks for settings in the parameters for compiling but I have no idea how to set it. Anybody have a clue how to configure or a workaround??
