Pithos native Pandora client in Slackware 13.37

I have downloaded .rpm, .tgz, and .txz packages, installed them, downloaded and installed dependencies, copied and pasted commands from the Pithos home page, as well as done dozens of Google searches on the subject, but I am still unable to install pithos on my Slackware system.

Does anyone have any helpful information on how I would successfully do this?
