packaging unbound -- in the works or planned?

I checked slackbuilds and didn't see unbound available or in the queue.
I'm running unbound now and I have already created the rc.unbound and I am going to look into creating the build/pkg scripts unless someone is working on this now.

p.s.
Unbound is a validating, recursive, and caching DNS resolver.

You could always create a SlackBuild and Package yourself and maintain it.

Goes without saying. But that wasn't the question.

If someone's already doing it then I would find out how far along they are and decide whether or not to do this. It's not trivial as it requires openssl 1.x for some features.

If it's not already on slackbuilds.org and not in pending or approved there's no reason why you can't submit it.

*Edit: Just seen that it requires openssl 1.x. This will be a problem then, since the stock package is 0.9. Usually all dependencies should be either the stock versions, or if not already part of slackware you need to also submit the dependency. Slackbuilds.org won't usually accept updates to stock packages.

I'm not an admin though so don't take my word for it. Your best bet is to ask on the slackbuilds mailing list or perhaps in the irc channel (#slackbuilds on freenode.net).

Ok, I thought there might be an issue updating openssl1.x since it's not a base pkg. It's not a complete deal killer as with out openssl1.x Unbound will still run but you miss a significant feature.
