{Solved} Open GL Screensavers not working

The open GL screensaver's were working yesterday. Today they are not. Not too sure why. I logged into xfce and then back into KDE, and now no Open GL screensavers. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I am using Nvidia Geforce FX 5400. With the Nvidia 173.14.09 drivers.

ok did you do anything upgrading right around the time this happended? because if you installed the update xorg package from slackware it will overwrite files from the nvidia installer.

Download the drivers from Nvidia.com, make sure you know where you saved them. Type into the terminal init 3. Login, in the terminal, type sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.09-pkg1.run, it will compile the drivers, then type init 4, and you will have installed the drivers.

Or you can download the Slackbuild.

Please advise if you have an old video card like me (MX400) you need to download the nvidia-legacy-driver

Cheers.
