nvidia-uvm.ko fails to build with Nvidia driver 352.55 and 352.41

Running Slackware 14.1 32bit

When running
$> KERNEL=3.10.17-smp ./nvidia-kernel.SlackBuild

nvidia-uvm.ko fails to build. Tried with both 352.55(latest) and 352.41

But it builds fine with driver 340.65.
I've never seen this module loaded with lsmod, is it important?
Should I update my kernel, maybe it builds on current?

I have built both on slackware 14.1 64 bit . I have not tried it in 32 bit. But if your card is a Geforce 9800 or less you will have to stay with the legacy driver 340.65.
I mean legacy 9800 cards. not the new gtx or gt.

I have a GTX 650. I'll just stick with 340.65 for now.
Thanks for helping.
