'nvidia-settings' package?
 
Have slackware64 14.0 installed with nvidia 319.32 driver. i need the 'nvidia-settings' package to disable vsync . . and i have no idea where to get it or how to install it. Can someone please help me with this?

I think that is not a separate package, it is installed when you install the driver - just run it from a shell.

I just started my only system with Nvidia driver and verified, nvidia-settings is installed along with the driver.

As the normal user simply open a terminal and run nvidia-settings. It will create a config file in the user's home directory (i.e., settings are per-user).

Also you should get an icon under the Settings section of whatever window manager menu you use as a direct way to launch it.
