notify-send -t 0 broken on KDE?

The notify-send -t 0 option doesn't work in KDE on my 14.0 system. Works correctly in Xfce, fluxbox, icewm.

The -t 0 option keeps the notification popup open until manually acknowledged by the user.

I compiled 0.7.6. Same effect.

PEBKAC or bug? If a bug is there a way to fix?

Thanks

Looks like this bug has been around a while?

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=665761

Looks like the GNOME people don't care how notify-send functions outside of GNOME/GTK apps?

Any hackers want to look at the libnotify code to create a patch? I'll help test, of course.
