No Xwindows after upgrade to Slackware-current
I recently upgraded my Slack 9.1 to Slack-current via Swaret. Now when I "startx" , the xserver crashes and sends the monitor into power-save mode, and I get no response from any combination of keystrokes on the keyboard (no results from ctrl+alt+del.) I am booting into runlevel 3 and I have run xf86config since the upgrade. Any suggestions? Anyone? Bueller?

I guess you should run xorgconfig now, since xfree86 was changed to Xorg in current.

Thanks gbonvehi! That fixed my problem. Where did you find that command? Is there a changelog entry that shows the change from xfree to xorg?:study:

Yeap, it's all on the changelogs :)
