No sound in 3D applications
 

Hi!!!

I've just installed Slackware 9.0 in a box of mine:

AMD Processor 800 MHZ
Inbuilt Sound Card
Nvidia TNT 32megas
394 RAM

Everything is working fine and at a great speed in this box. I've just having one problem. I cannot get any sound with any 3D application... games, winex, blendergamekit. Nothing at all. I can though, listen to AudioCD's, mp3's and KDE sounds are working just fine. I'm running Nvidia drivers number 1.0.4496.

I wonder if there's any "audio" driver that I should install to get this kind of applications working or if this inbuilt Sound Card would be the problem (thou, I doubt it, it's working nicely) or if I have to edit something, somewhere due Nvidia's drivers.

Any help would be great guys.

P.S: I've search the forum, but most were having strange sounds or no sound at all, that's not my case, it's only with 3D applications... apparently :)

Well, I've managed to fix it. If anyone faces this issue, install SDL. That fixed the problem. I just love SDL, it's fast, easy to use and if you enjoy coding games, you can use it together with pure C or an easy and great language python. It's just impressive :). I had to say it here... hehe
