I've just installed Slackware 10.1 but the sound will not work.
This is the message I get when I start the computer and also if I try to restart the sound server:
Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such device)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.
I've tried with alsaconf and it goes trough the config process without problems but the sound still doesn't work
*sigh*
