no filesystem could mount root,tried: romfs kernel panic - not syncing: vfs: unable t


i make slackpkg upgrade-all then i went out the home i came back and found the laptop is powerd off so i turned it on and loaded slack when the system is starting i got this error
no filesystem could mount root,tried: romfs
kernel panic - not syncing: vfs: unable to mount root fs on unkown-block(8.3)




any can u help me please ?

Have you got a Slackware install disk? If you have boot with it, follow the instructions on the splash screen for emergency booting and see if your system boots. It is possible a kernel got upgraded if you can get in run lilo as root.
