Network pb on fresh slackware 10.2

I've a strange problem with slackware 10.2 on a computer with 3com network card.

The module 3c59x is loaded, my IP is configured and I can ping myself, but I can't ping any other computer, I can't use DHCP... I don't really have network...

If I reinstall my old 10.1 on the same machine, it works good...

Nothing in log files.

Any Idea ?

How to set debugging on this driver ?

Thanks for help.

NB : kernel 2.4.31

what do you mean by not really haveing a network?

what do you have?

if its a stand alone client and you have an ip but cant ping servers on the net, its probally a dns problem.
