netstat -anp shows lot of info

I've just installed Slackware64 14.1 (KDE 4.11.3 from Eric's repo), clean install only kept /home from previous 14.0. I'm using Easy Firewall script (alienBob). I just ran 'netstat -anp' and received a lot of output, not used to seeing that much in 14.0. Also tried 'ss -lp' with same info. Any ideas why is this?

netstat -tunap is what you want. The UNIX domain stuff is all local to your system and not of interest from a firewall perspective.
