Nethack compile, and a suggestion.
I spent almost three hours today tweaking Makefiles to get nethack to compile with QT and Gnome (X11) support, but all in vain. I got Falcon's Eye to partially work, but it freezes at random and it won't quit, and it's a older version (they don't have it for new nethack yet)
Here is where make fails:
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/nethack/nethack-3.4.1/src'
cc -O -I../include -c ../sys/unix/unixres.c
../sys/unix/unixres.c: In function `real_getresuid':
../sys/unix/unixres.c:35: `RTLD_NEXT' undeclared (first use in this function)
../sys/unix/unixres.c:35: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
../sys/unix/unixres.c:35: for each function it appears in.)
../sys/unix/unixres.c: In function `real_getresgid':
../sys/unix/unixres.c:47: `RTLD_NEXT' undeclared (first use in this function)
make[1]: *** [unixres.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/nethack/nethack-3.4.1/src'
make: *** [nethack] Error 2
Sounds like something with the source code to me... Or maybe i overlooked something in the Makefiles. Can someone help me out? Perhaps send me your Makefiles for Slack?
Second, i finally have $ for a laptop! Does anyone have a good suggestion. Something along the lines of a Athlon 1600mhz, Geforce2 or 4. Thanks for everything in advance!
