Net (BCM5700) not working after Kernel compile

After recompiling my kernel (2.4.22) in Slack 9.1 my network adapter don't load as a module...
The NET card is a BCM5700 from BROADCOM....if I compile the module from
BROADCOM's driver homepage before recompile the kernel it works perfectly but
it stops working after the recompiling...it says that the kernel version for which the module
was compiled doesn't match with the actual version...I have modified the Makefile
with EXTRAVERSION=1 and the kernel version is 2.4.22-1.

Thanks in advance

The logic is compile module after compile kernel

Solved

Sorry, ended up in the wrong thread. I guess I should stop using IE (although I have to at work).
