Question Need help with Chicony Compaq Internet Keyboard

Ive tried unsuccessfully to program the multimedia keys for my keyboard. Its from a Compaq Presario 5000 series. Last but not helpful :-p, I tried LinEasyAccesKeyboard. My kb was not found on there, and none (I mean none) of the other keyboard selections proved helpful. Does anyone have the slightest clue how I can get my extra keys working. I just want to use volume and mute buttons.
My keyboard model number is KU-9978

oh yeah, in LinEAK, no matter what keyboard I tried, and even if I dont use LinEAK, my multimedia buttons all cause the mouse cursor to move very slightly. Some keys move more than others, some horizontal, some vertical.

I have a ku-9978 keybord from compaq, and I use hotkey to setup the multimedia buttons.
For this I have modified a file (/usr/share/hotkeys/kb9963.def on my system)
for this

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<definition>

<config model="Compaq KB-9963 keyboard">
<!--
Image at:
http://www.sanwasupply.co.jp/product...de=main&cate=1
159=play pause
164=previous
162=next
151=stop
129=eject
197=help
196=dont know
165=less volume
158=up volume
166=mute
223=sleep
-->

<Play keycode="159"/>
<PrevTrack keycode="164"/>
<NextTrack keycode="162"/>
<Stop keycode="151"/>
<Eject keycode="129"/>
<Help keycode="197"/>
<userdef keycode="196" command="xmmsfind_remote">Find Music</userdef>
<VolDown keycode="165" adj="2"/>
<VolUp keycode="158" adj="2"/>
<Mute keycode="166"/>
<WebBrowser keycode="223"/>

<!--
<PrevTrack keycode="152"/>
<Play keycode="149"/>
<Eject keycode="177"/>
<NextTrack keycode="147"/>

<VolUp keycode="173" adj="2"/>
<VolDown keycode="166" adj="2"/>
<Mute keycode="153"/>

<Email keycode="150"/>
<Help keycode="175"/>
<WakeUp keycode="227"/>
<Sleep keycode="222"/>

<userdef keycode="175" command="xterm -rv">Xterm</userdef>
<userdef keycode="150" command="balsa">Balsa Email client</userdef>

Feel free to customize these -->

</config>

<contributor>
<name>to be added</name>
<email>to be added</email>
</contributor>

</definition>

All working very well, expept for the key with blue background... I don't see any event in xev when pushed thi key...

Expect that can help you...
