Need GNOME binary

Hi,

Where should I get a binary distribution of GNOME? I found http://gnomeslackbuild.org/ looks a good one, but it claims on the web site it supports only 13.37. How about 14.0 then?

Thanks.

You can have MATE 1.6 for Slackware 14.0 which is fork of GNOME 2

Your choices are MateSlackBuild (already mentioned), Dropline GNOME, and Salix's MATE packages (which are available for 14.0 on their FTP sites).

Here are the support threads for the other two:

Thanks for the information. I will try MATE first. Hope it can help my dropbox running issue.

Also it should be noted that the MATE SlackBuild project now has binary packages for Slackware 14.0.
