ndiswrapper Kernel Panic

Dear Forum,

I got a kernel panic after loading ndiswrapper with an rt73-chip-using Belkin F5D7050. Ndiswrapper compilation and setup with the wireless card went fine, however when I went to shut down, I got a kernel panic.

The only reason I would want to solve this is if I can't get the RT73 driver to compile, which I've had numerous problems with. If anybody knows how to solve the ndiswrapper problem, please let me know.

Thanks,
Joel

If you look at ndiswrapper site

http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/m...dex.php/List#B

at paragraph 35 or 36, there is problem at shutdown with this card.

maybe you can try to force shutdown of the card by adding the following line:

ifconfig eth0 down

(replace eth0 with your interface)

at the beginning of the shutdown script: /etc/rc.d/rc.6
