My xfce is not working properly~~~

I got this problem with my xfce. The mouse pointer is gone. Whatever the applications I started, it wasn't placed properly in the windows. When I logout from xfce, I've got these messages:

Quote:

But you're not logging in as root (good!) so something
else must be wrong. Did you read the manual and the FAQ?

http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/man.html

xfce is ok when I login as the other users.

Should I reinstall xfce and how?

Thanks.

You said you login as other users and all is OK, so that's good. Don't reinstall Xfce. It won't help, because the problem is likely in your own user configuration (profile). Unfortunately I don't think there is one single "master reset" for the Xfce profile, but you can start by renaming the ~/.cache/sessions (to anything else), while not logged in to Xfce.

If your Xfce login is still broken after that, you can try renaming/removing directories in ~/.config/ - but be aware that other applications store data there too. A backup first would be wise. The directories I would start with in ~/.config to try are xfce4, xfce4-session, autostart, Thunar. But try ~/.cache/sessions first.
