My own mapped keyb (?)

Hello people!
First of all, I need to say that now I have serial wheel mouse running free on my X (KDE): Gaba gaba hey!
Thanks a lot for all the pacience and support.

Now I need to configure my SB Live 5.1 emu10k1, but when trying I've discovered on console that my keyb didn't print the | key, so I cant't use greep with dmseg (?)

Instead of |, I get > on my already almost perfectly configured abnt2 keyboard (so I'm not going to change the protocol or map).

I think that I must configure only that key, and not the whole keyb.
Does anyone have a cue?
How to do the job?

Thanks again!

you can use xmodmap to remap keys on your keyboard. man xmodmap

You may need xev to figure out the keystrokes.

The man pages are pretty self-explanitory.

Just as an FYI: it always helpful to copy and paste whatever error messages you are getting unless its specific enough that it's informative. Otherwise, you'll be stuck waiting for an answer longer.

So please, re-run the command and copy what error you're getting. It seems important enough to see what is causing you not to remap your keys.

Thanks

I was so tired (and sick) that forgot to do it.
But tonight I'll do!
