Question multiple monitors - but not in X

I know that there are many posts about getting multiple monitors working. However all of the ones that I have been able to find deal with using multiple monitors in X windows. I would like to use more than one monitor for the console.

I have and AGP video card and a PCI video card (and if this will work then I will have more PCI video cards) and I have a monitor on each of the cards. However the console only seems to start on the monitor atatched to my AGP card. I know that my PCI card is detected as a frame buffer because when I do
fbset -fb /dev/fb1
I get the resolution that it is running at.

I have been looking in the man pages for agetty and fbset and inittab, but I can't seem to figure out where I go to set up a tty on another monitor.

As I am only just learning slackware I admit that some of my terminology may be incorrect, but regardless of that any help that I could get in this matter would be appreciated.

I see no one has responded to this. Some further ideas on this is perhaps I need to give the kernel some boot parameters in order for it to initialize mroe than one vcard. Hopefully someone will have an idea for this.

Thanks for your help.

I see that no one has responded. Is this because no one has and thoughts on this or because no one cares?

I think it is more like nobody knows and cares cause they can use dual monitor in x window environment.

It make more sense that way. However, I can see the need of scrolling a big file, so you can have two or more monitor stack vertically.

I have a dual head card which displays exact same thing in both monitor in run level 3.

I used to want to make my video card to run at 85 Hz in runlevel 3, nobody replied to that either.
