Multilib Installation Shows ">" after "lftp -c ..."

Okay, so I apologize for this but this is technically a second thread about almost the same topic.

The first one is here:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...out-cd-894868/

However, I've opened this one because it's a different problem, and I thought I had done it correctly in order to get to the step in the previous thread, but I was wrong.

The guide at: http://connie.slackware.com/~alien/multilib/

Asks to use "lftp -c ... ... ..." and for my mirror I chose:

http://connie.slackware.com/~alien/multilib/13.37/

Leading me to use this:

Code:

lftp -c 'open http://slackware.com/~alien/multilib/ ; http://connie.slackware.com/~alien/multilib/13.37/
However, after doing so this is what is returned:

Code:

Did I do something wrong?

You've missed the closing apostrophe.

Okay, after fixing that I got this:

Try running this this:

"lftp -c 'open http://slackware.com/~alien/multilib/ ; mirror 13.37'"

Then run:

"cd 13.37"

Then run:

"upgradepkg --reinstall --install-new *.t?z"

To install the multilib compiler toolchains, and lastly run:

"cd slackware64-compat32"

and then run

"upgradepkg --install-new *-compat32/*.t?z"

And it should work now.

Thank you ReaperX7, it seems to have worked!

I thought the mirrors thing was for the link to the mirror, not what I was actually supposed to type. ^^

You're welcome.
