Multilib conversion went wrong

I have Alien's multilib installed on my desktop so I thought I would install it on my laptop.

Something went wrong. It seems that the mass converted packages contain lib64 files instead of lib files. I replaced them with the packages from my desktop so I think it is fixed but what might have gone wrong?

(Curiously when I next booted the laptop lilo was not working!)

I use Slackware64-current, I built the compat32 packages from Slackware-current using Alien's script and there's no problem at all. It worked flawlessly. Are you using the old build of the massconvert.sh script? If you are, try getting the new build and rebuild the compat32 packages.

Did you use the script on Slackware64-13.0 instead of Slackware-13.0?

Yes samac I realised last night that I had used the script on my Slackware64 installation DVD!
