Question msi cb54g2 driver

Hi all, This is my first posting on the group

I have an old dell laptop latitude cp series - p2 200 - 300 mhz and 48 mhz ram. It currently has win 98se on it and works fairly well but I am looking at putting slackware on it. I was told this is good for older machines. What I will be needing though is a driver for the msi cb54g2 wireless pcmica card. Is there one? Or a generic driver? Or is there a wirless card I should get instead and where is the driver?

Thanks for any advice

It looks like this card has a RaLink rt2500 cipset If so, you can use this rt2500 driver package:

Thanks for that. The processor is 233mhz and someone told me that this might be too slow to run slackware in graphical mode. They said that it would be slower than 98. Is this true? I just want to access the internet maily for emails, accessing forums and reading news. I also want to run openoffice. What do you think?

Also this may be a stupid question but do I need an anti virus and firewall on slackware. And which ones should I get? Are they installed with slackware?
