mplayer driver

hi all,

i just downloade mplayer source, downloaded the 'all codec pack' and installed it downloaded the gui and saved it to /home/myname/.mplayer/Skin/default, compiled with
Code:
./config --enable-gui
and it is installed as i can run it.

however, i can read no video i get a vo-error.

when i look into the config i see that for video it is using a MATROX driver... but i have all the nvidia drivers installed and working perfectly.

..mm...

what do you think i should do?
