Mp3s in k3b?

Ok i have installed k3b, i have every thing working. I can burn wav files. But what i can't do is burn mp3 files, and it looks like i need a plugin or something so it can handle the fileformat. I think that regulare audio cds use wav files, so i either need the plugin for k3b or i need a good mp3 - wav converter. THanks for your time and any help you could give me.

Ahhh...,
MP3s are a sore subject . Some Linux distros don't provide support for MP3s because of patent's, Slack might be one of them. Here's some links:

As far as using k3b, I'm not sure that burning MP3s is supported.
