I have a Logitech Wireless optical mouse. When booting up after gpm is started my keyboard will not work, but if i boot off the cd my mouse and keyboard will run fine after gpm is started... i disabled gpm from loading up on boot and everything runs fine... what is the prob?
I told you how to fix it in *real life*
Your memory sucks.
just run 'mouseconfig'
or do what David said.
However you can also use your ps2/usb converter to make your mouse and keyboard ps2, thats better anyways.
in mouseconfig choose imps2.
I have a Logitech usb mouse which I am using with the ps2 adapter. I have slack 8.1 installed. I am using imps/2 in my X11 config file and the mouse works flawlessly in X. The mouse also works flawlessly using GPM on boot-up. However, after starting and exiting from X a couple of times, the mouse works erratically under GPM (still fine though in X) I don't want to disable GPM because I use it so much.
Is anyone else having this problem?
