Mounting Live CD Image

im tryin to burn the slackware live cd (tryin to use live cds to learn linux without investing alot of harddrive but still run fast and look nice... nero wont burn the cd so itll boot.. ive tried almost every option that'll burn an iso image.. what gives? im havin the same problem with my damn small linux, knoppix and other live cd distros.. cant get a burn.. the last one i got to burn was a knoppix distro that has way too many security tools and hacking apps.. i just need a basic client that i can cutstomize to look good and teach me linux.. thanks 10 times

What are you doing when you are trying to burn it under nero? Like are u just going to wizard make data cd? Usaually in the Wizard depending on version you can go to make image cd OR if you dont have the wizard go to File > Create Image or something like that. Is that what you're trying to do? If so then im not sure why its not working. As for mounting a live cd Im not sure about that did you read the docs. I know that theres a hell of alot of docs for this subject.

Im trying to mount Gentoo and its been showed to be quite alittle project hehe Anyways I know theres alot of docs its just the matter of reading them all. Anyways Good Luck

Close the Wizard, and the New Compilation box, then from the File menu, choose Burn Image...

Browse to the image you wish to burn, select it and burn it.

If Nero keeps screwing up give Alcohol 120% (also win) a try. A good wizard for iso burning and a lot more.
