Mounting a Flash Disk

I am using Slackware version 10.1 and I would like to use/mount a flash disk. Actually, what I want to use is an MP3 player that doubles as a flash disk.

Plug it in, wait 20seconds, then run

dmesg

At the bottom you will see something like sdb, sde or sda

Lets say its sde, so..

Code:

mkdir /mnt/mp3_flash
mount /dev/sde1 /mnt/mp3_flash
cd /mnt/mp3_flash

Or just add /dev/sdeX1 to /etc/fstab

or you could just monitor your /dev directory, the interface will pop up as soon as you plug it in (within 1-5 sec)
