mount question

I install Slackware on IDE disc and now I attached SATA disc with two NTFS partition.
Where I need to mount that partition if I want that every user can access and see that partition (read only) in KDE (Storage Media)

What's difference between mounting in /mnt or /media

Whether you mount under /mnt or /media is more or less just a personal decision. I prefer /mnt for most discs.

Just create the mount directory you want and create an fstab entry with the appropriate permissions.

My ntfs fstab looks like this, and allows users to access it.

/dev/hda2 /mnt/windows ntfs user,umask=0000,ro 1 0
