mono sound and no microphone stopped working
 

Everything worked smoothly up untill now. Stereo sound and mic worked, after, i think ive changed something in kmix and cannot troubleshoot the issue, i get mono sound when starting x and master/pcm im not able to adjust. dosent work

ive tried to run alsaconf but no joy

Hi matters, How about alsamixer, any luck with that?

As Peacedog said, alsamixer is your best bet. After running alsamixer, run `alsactl store` as root. Good luck.
