Modprobe e100 and mooule could not be found

Hi,

i tried something by using this command:

Code:
depmod e100
After that when i try to modprobe e100, it shows:
Code:
modprobe e100
FATAL: Module e100 not found.
What can i do to modprobe e100 again?

To check if the file exists:
Code:
find /lib/modules/`uname -r` -name e100\*
I know the depmod -a command, I don't know for depmod module command and what's the purpose

Run
depmod -a
in a terminal. Then the system will be able find your modules again. I actually fell into this trap.
