Modem setup for dial up?

Hello all.

I've just installed a slackware distribution/windows on my laptop.

My prefered development environment will be Slackware (obviously) and using Gnome as a desktop manager.

How can I setup/configure my modem to allow a dialup connection with my ISP? I want to use one of the web browsers installed in Gnome.

use pppsetup.
i do think that's the easiest way to setup your dial-up.
just type "pppsetup"
and answer a few simple question.

Yep, I can confirm this, use pppsetup.
