Missing Gnome shared library on upgraded 9.0

I just upgraded my system from 8.1 to 9.0. everything went well except for the fact that my gaim wont load. Every time i try to start is i get this error:

gaim: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

could someone tell me where i can get that shared library. i searched google.com/linux but everything there was rpm's for redhat. my aim name is tuxx0rz if anyone can upload me the file im almost always on.

thanx

If you have the 9.0 cd, the file you're missing is part of the gtk+2-2.2.1-i386-1.tgz package. So to install that package on my machine I would:

cd /mnt/cdrom/slackware/l
installpkg gtk+2-2.2.1-i386-1.tgz

You can search the cd for files you may be looking for by searching the file MANIFEST.gz (which is located under the slackware directory on the cd):

zless /mnt/cdrom/slackware/MANIFEST.gz
then hit the / key and type any words/filenames you're looking for.
