md5sum is broken in slackware-current

This is weird, but md5sum is not fully functional in my slackware-current installation.

`md5sum -c FILE` works fine if FILE contains only filenames and their hashes. If FILE contains a header like CHECKSUMS.md5 does, then I got tons of errors messages:
Quote:

# md5sum -c CHECKSUMS.md5 2>&1 | head
md5sum: ./ANNOUNCE.13_37: No such file or directory
./ANNOUNCE.13_37: FAILED open or read
md5sum: ./BOOTING.TXT: No such file or directory
./BOOTING.TXT: FAILED open or read
md5sum: ./CHANGES_AND_HINTS.TXT: No such file or directory
./CHANGES_AND_HINTS.TXT: FAILED open or read
md5sum: ./COPYING: No such file or directory
./COPYING: FAILED open or read
md5sum: ./COPYING3: No such file or directory
./COPYING3: FAILED open or read
Does anybody have the same issue?

Please read this thread from February where the issue was discussed which you are probably seeing now for the first time: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...option-928539/

Ironically, the header that's breaking things also contains your answer.

To test all these files, use this command:

tail +13 CHECKSUMS.md5 | md5sum -c --quiet - | less
That'll lop the header off the file before it is fed to md5sum.
