man alsamixer not showing the man page
 

Hi,

I have just reinstalled Slackware 10 on a new partition. When I give the command "man alsamixer", I am getting just a blank page with some "? marks" at the end of the screen.

I am able to view the man pages of alsactl etc. correctly.

What would be the problem with man pages of alsamixer?

look at the filesize of it.

root@slack21:/home/egag# ls -l /usr/man/man1/alsamixer.1.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1462 2004-05-29 22:12 /usr/man/man1/alsamixer.1.gz

( thats mine: 1462 bytes )
