Malformed URL - Starthere on my Desktop
Hi,
I am very new to Linux and Slackware, just installed it two days ago. I have KDE as my default desktop but when I first installed it, I wanted to try some different Window managers. So I tried them all. I got stuck with Fluxbox as my desktop but have since managed to get KDE back, but now on my Desktop is a file called starthere that when clicked on does nothing. When I first logged back in it says "Malformed URL" I haved searched the forum and googled but can't find very much on how to fix it, do I need this file? Is it safe to delete? if not is there anything I can do to fix the malformed URL? At the moment the Type is: Desktop Config File and links to: /root/Desktop/starthere.desktop Many thanks janap-146 |
Yess Delete it
It appeared when you chose GNOME as the desktop manager. It is of no use in KDE, and can be safely deleted.
