Making a script to turn on/off laptop power controll


Was wondering if someone could help me make a bash script that could prompt me if I wanted to turn on/off my power saving options during boot or login. I really appreciate the help.

How about just modifying apm so that it will load, but able to turn it off temp. at the command prompt.
