Makefile + rpm Problems
 

just installed slack today, pretty impressed with it so far. i have a bt voyager 100 modem and a riptide pci card so ive been downloading the tar and rpms for these but i cant "make install" - says

"make command not recognised" or something like that. same goes for the "rpm -i" command

i guess i havent installed them. where can i get them from, and how will i install them?

(btw i have extracted the tarballs)

picked up a few commands already, can easily access my /fat-c so i download whatever i need in windows, reboot into slack and mv them in :D

its working now, doesnt matter. resinstalled slack
