Wink Mail

You know when you login with no GUI it says no mail. Is there a way to have it check my domain which has pop3 capabilities to check that for me? Or is that used for something else?

I think you could maybe use something like fetchmail, not sure...i've never really tried it. Hopefully someone else knows.

Cheers :-)

Maybe the mail thing mean internal mail, like if you were running linux in a building and you can pull your mail from an internal server or something. But if you have to get your mail from the internet it won't be updated when you log on because you haven't been online. Maybe you could configure 'pppsetup' or something so when you log in you can dial up from the command line without using X and grab your mail with fetchmail.

Cheers :-)
