Lower panel look and right click menu

Just wondering what is the name or what should I be looking for to find themes that change the lower bar. I already downloaded the murrine themes and assumed they would change the mouse over behavior / look of the lower bar but it just changed the color. I managed to change the size but that's it. When I used mint there was docky app which worked great but don't think I can install that here?

Also, I see videos of people right clicking and there is an option extract here, what slackbuild is this or what program?

I'm on slackware 14 xfce

Thanks

ok i found out its called cairo dock but I am having troubles creating the package for the dependency from slackbuilds gtkglext (1.2.0).

When running the sh filename.slackbuild command I get the following error:

Do you have multilib packages installed? Or perhaps a 3rd party video driver that has installed a 32bit OpenGL?

Your error is that is trying to link a 64bit program to a 32bit one.

I did a search in packages and didn't find any "multilib". I did do a full slackware install (not sure if they're included). The only drivers I installed was latest nvidia 319.23 for 64bit yesterday.

I bet you answered yes to the install 32bit drivers option.

If your not actually running a multilib setup then you should not install the 32bit drivers only the 64bit ones.

And before you get confused the 64bit version of the nvidia drivers includes both 32 and 64 bit drivers and it will prompt you when installing to add the 32 bit drivers.

There is no need to multilib your setup at this time and you will only complicate matters by doing so so you should revert the packages back to standard ones and then go back and reinstall the nvidia drivers and say no to the 32bit driver question and then double check /usr/lib for anything that was left behind.

Did you delete /usr/lib ? Or did you have a look in /usr/lib for any nvidia remnants and delete those?

I don't think wildwizard was suggesting that you should install multilib, but was just asking if you had it installed to help narrow down the problem.
