hi, i am trying to compile a kernel (2.6.9) for slackware and i have some problems...
i've already compiled some kernels before and applied patches to them, but this time i wanted to test the love sources and i always get errors during the patching, so i was wondering if anyone could tell me wich files are needed and in wich order should i patch them...
right now i have
linux-2.6.9.tar.bz2 (downloaded from kernel.org)
2.6.9-rc4-love1.bz2 (downloaded from love-sources.org)
I untared the kernel and then tried to apply the patch using:
bzip2 -dc 2.6.9-rc4-love1.bz2 | patch -p1
but i get a lot of warning telling me it can't find the files to patch or that it has been already patched and if I want to reverse them
i read the compile a new kernel faq but i could not find much about using love sources
plz help a newb
