Lockup on boot initializing urandom

I just upgraded from Slackware 12.1 to 12.2, and now my computer won't boot. It gets to:

using /etc/random-seed to initialize /dev/urandom

and just sits there. It sat there all night last night.

There are a few threads that might help, there is one from the current Slackware here.

I think you will also find it helpful to read the CHANGES & HINTS and UPGRADE docs from the current release.

Ahh, that worked, thanks. I searched for random-seed and it didn't return anything useful...didn't occur to me that someone would post without pasting the whole message on there

I have not actually done any upgrades of my 12.1 boxes yet but am following most of the threads on the subject - kind of like letting all you early adopters do my research for me
