Local Time zone must be set ??

i get this when i use the uname -a command
Local time zone must be set--see zic manua

How do i fix this problem?

Check /etc/timezone see if anything is in there. If not add the timezone for you aera.

Nope i have nothing not even a file by that name?? how do i add it?
