Democratic???? why??? we have a BDFL (Benevolent Dictator for Life ), we don't need democracy.....

I voted in the poll, but for beginners I recommended Salix instead. For everything else I put Slackware.

Voted Slackware in all of them + Slackware derivatives (really only Salix) in the multiple choice ones.

Slackware cures everything!!! Except baldness.
I would recommend Salix, not necessarily because it was easier than Slackware (is Slack really difficult? (rhetorical question)), but for people who want a one-application-for-one-task distro.
