Linkchecker on Slackware

Hello,

I was asked to manage 4 year old website. Naturally, there are many dead or broken links.

Unfortunately, there is no 'linkchecker' command available on Slackware, nor SlackBuilds.org neither Eric's slackbuilds have it.

Did anyone manage to run a linkchecker on Slackware by himself?

Thanks in advance.

M.

use wget with recursive and spider options to check for the status of links

@willysr Thanks, but my box can't catch up with the times, it runs Xfce.

@ruario I guess that will be my last resort, thanks!
