limit processes for each user


hi,

i know other Linux distributions can limit user processes in /etc/security/limits.conf,
but i can't find such file and dir in my slackware 10.0, is slackware use other methods to limit users processes, any ideas, thanks.

check the ULIMIT value in:
/etc/login.defs

read here about the ulimit bash build-in command:
