LILO Boot opions for disabling OHCI1394_0

Just installed Slack 9.1 on a new box I am dual booting it with win 2kpro at the Lilo boot loader where it give you the option of Windows or Linuix and the ability to pass options to the kernel what option do I need to pass to disable OHCI1394_0.

Cause if I just boot into Slack it gets to

ohci1394_0: OHCI-1394 1.1 (PCI) IRQ=[10] MMIO=[d0000000-d00007ff] Max Packet=[2048]

and locks up cant get anywhere cause the kernel never fully loads. Any Ideas

Thanks in advance!!!

It looks like it is trying to load that particular kernel module. You probably need to list ieee1394 in /etc/hotplug/blacklist, or just disable hotplug and configure /etc/rc.d/rc.modules by hand.

IF you haven't already done the above, perhaps you could boot from your install CD and try to make the edits.
