Talking lilo boot image

I got tired of seeing my red background when I boot my computer, so I stole some images (propaganda) off of the slackware.com website and made one.

If anyone is interested you can download it here http://users.adelphia.net/~lswysocki/downloads/lilo.bmp

I am definitely not a graphics guy so the file is rather large compared to others I have seen. If someone knows how to fix this let me know.

If you need help installing see /usr/doc/lilo*/README.bitmaps and spend some time reading that.

Here is my lilo.dat

Code:
#
# generated companion file to:
#
bitmap = /boot/lilo.bmp
bmp-table = 59,5;1,19,16,4
bmp-colors = 15,,0;5,,15
bmp-timer = 515p,437p;0,,

thanks!

If you change any of the text colors, send me your .dat file so I can try them out as well. I am not sure if I like the green I am presently using.

Also if anyone knows a way to capture the screen at boot time I would appreciate it.

All you have to do in the GIMP is in the image's window, go to Image -> Mode -> Idexed and change the color amount to 16. Here are some LILO screens that I have made.

I use the LinuxX one because it's shway.
