I'm currently running slackware 13.37. I downloaded libtorrent-0.13.0 because rtorrent depended on it. I have libsigc++ installed already. When running "./configure" for libtorrent it gives me this error:

I am very new to slackware and relatively new to installing packages this way if anyone can tell me how to fix this it would be great.

Did you try with stable version of libtorrent (0.12.9) and rtorrent (0.8.9) instead of unstable version ? I have no problem with stable version.

Ah! Of course. I was trying to install the unstable version. The stable release is working great now thanks!

FWIW 0.13.0 compiles fine on current.
